Wellness Counselors
Welcome to the SFHS Wellness Counselors page.
The Wellness Center Staff is available to all students at Santa Fe High School. The staff at the Wellness Center strive to empower students to maximize their overall potential by supporting the mental health well-being of all students. We are a safe and confidential place located on campus. Every student is assigned a Wellness Counselor that can be seen by appointment during school hours (counseling consent form needed).
The services offered are voluntary and take place during the school day. Although the appointments are excused during the school day, the student is responsible for communicating with their teacher and making up any missed work.
Each student who uses the wellness center will have an individualized counseling plan that meets their goals for the school year. Although the Wellness Center is housed on campus, all sessions are confidential and remain between the student and their Wellness Counselor. However, there are limitations to confidentiality which include: any reports of harm to self, harm to others, and someone else harming the student.
