Academic Decathlon is a program where 3 different levels (Honors, Scholastic, and Varsity) of 9 student academic teams per campus compete in 10 academic events at structured meets throughout the year. This is a varied academic competition at its’ best, in Language and Literature, Math, Science, Social Science, Interview, Art History, Music, Essay, Speech, and Economics.

We are a competitive Bowling Club that follows UIL guidelines.  We have both girls and boys Varsity and JV teams. Teams compete in District competitions each year with the possibility for Regional and State advancement. We practice in Alvin or have matches in the area, two days a week during our season which usually runs from October to April. This Club is 100% Parent/Student funded.

Club Hope was created in 2019 by a former student with the goal of increasing community engagement and spreading awareness about school and personal safety.  Today, we use it to connect with our community, increase mental health and personal safety awareness, and bring attention to local and international issues that are important to us.  After the Santa Fe community was rocked by the tragedy that occurred on May 18, 2018, we pledged our dedication to helping this community heal and aiding our students in preparing for life after high school.

Students will explore various techniques and formats including but not limited to fiction, poetry, and songwriting.  Members can participate in national Novel writing month during November and will continue to hone their imaginations and CW skills throughout  the year.

The Criminal Justice Club introduces students to professions in law enforcement, protective services, corrections, firefighting, and emergency management services and skills needed for the industry. Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of police, courts, corrections, private security, and protective agencies of fire and emergency services. The club operates through SkillsUSA.

SkillsUSA offers local, state, and national opportunities for students can learn and practice personal, workplace, and technical skills. These three components comprise the SkillsUSA Framework, a blueprint for career readiness.

Local chapters conduct a full program of work and many students also attend a district or state conference. At the SkillsUSA Championships, more than 6,500 students compete in more than 100 occupational and leadership skill areas each June. These national technical competitions help establish industry standards for job skill training and entry-level workers. SkillsUSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a successful model of employer-driven youth development training.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private schools through grade 12. FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families.

Designed for students who want to pursue jobs in the medical profession in the future.  We participate in community service activities throughout the year as a way to practice selfless service for others.

Students have the chance to make a real difference while having fun.  Every Interact club member carries out two service projects a year:  one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.  Sponsored by the Rotary Club.  Interact members will:  connect with community leaders, develop leadership skills, make international connections and discover more opportunities to connect with Rotary including Rotaract, RYLA and Youth Exchange.

The International Thespians Society (ITS) is the honor society high school theater students that recognizes student achievement in the theater arts.

TAFE is a co-curricular student organization created to allow young men and women an opportunity to explore the teaching profession.  The organization was created to provide high school and middle school students in Texas with the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions about pursuing careers in education.  The focus is on building character, practicing leadership and providing service in our school and community.
