Santa Fe High School Principal
Hi, I am Karlee Custer, principal of Santa Fe High School. I have worked at SFHS since 2013. I served as a secondary history teacher for 3-years and a high school administrator for 7-years.
I received my Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and my Master of Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
I look forward to continuing my role in administrative leadership at Santa Fe High School as the principal and building relationships with our students, faculty, and community members.
In my spare time, I spend most weekends at the ball field with my 9-year-old son’s select baseball team. My 5-year-old daughter is his biggest cheerleader! As a family, my husband and I enjoy spending time at the ranch and being outdoors with our kiddos.
Santa Fe High School Assistant Principal
Hi, my name is Nikolete Cook and I am so excited to be an Assistant Principal at Santa Fe High School.
I began my education career at Santa Fe High School as an intern in the math department and after one week of my internship, I knew I wanted to work in Santa Fe. Following my internship, I taught 3 years of Algebra I, 1 year of Pre-Calculus, and 1 year of Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (all under my maiden name Ms. Nikravan or "Ms. N").
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and my Master of Science in Educational Leadership, both from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. For the past 3 years, I also assisted in teaching "Creating Positive Learning Environments in Grades 7-12" at UHCL, under the mentorship of Dr. Divoll.
I am truly humbled and honored with my new position and will work diligently to support the needs of the district's students, teachers, and administration.

Hi, I’m Tammi Pickering, Assistant Principal of Santa Fe High School, and I have been in education for 15 years. I spent 8 years as a science teacher in elementary and middle school in Clear Creek ISD, and 7 years as an instructional coach also in Clear Creek ISD. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Houston Clear Lake and my Masters Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.
I am a mom to three wonderful children, and in my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening, going to the movies and spending time with my family. I am excited to begin my journey in Santa Fe ISD as an Assistant Principal. My goal is to encourage students to pursue their passions and strive for excellence each day. I believe strongly in educating the whole child and providing students with not only an exceptional education, but the emotional guidance and support to be the best they can be.

Hi, I'm Beth Yorlano, and I am thoroughly excited to be continuing my journey at Santa Fe High School as an Assistant Principal for the third year. Previously, I was a high school counselor and district lead counselor at SFISD. Prior to administrative roles, I was in Clear Creak ISD as a Theatre and Professional Communications Teacher.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Theatre & Dance and a BS in Communications, and I received my Master of Education in School Counseling and my Principal Certification from Lamar University.
I've been married to my husband, Andy, for 12 years. We have an 8-year-old son, Dominic, who attends RJ Wollam.
I look forward to continuing to give back to the community that has given so much to me.
